Dental Care West is proud to be an ACC Registered Provider. We offer emergency dental services and are conveniently open 6 days a week with extended opening hours. We have been working with ACC since it began in 1974 so we are used to helping you.

If you’ve had an accident and damage your teeth or gums, your treatment fees may be contributed to by ACC. At Dental Care West we don’t charge any co-payments for children under the age of 18, we cover that for them. For people over the age of 18 there are often co-payments required to fill the gap between the cost of your dental care and what ACC cover (it’s a bit like the physio). We are able to quote you before we start any treatment so you are aware of these costs. For more substantial treatment, we write to ACC to request approval of what fees they will cover so that our dental team and our patients know what these co-payments are before anything begins.

Even if you don’t see any damage to the teeth, it’s best to come in and see us anyway so that we can register the accident with ACC. This will assist with any claims that you might make in the future if a problem does develop.
