Dentures
Dentures and partial plates are a great and cost-effective way of replacing missing teeth or replacing teeth that just can’t be saved.
Dentures and partial plates are used to help bring back somebody’s smile when their own teeth are missing. Don’t worry, there’s no need to feel bad about getting dentures, they’re not just for the elderly who have lost some or all their teeth.
Denture treatment usually begins with one more tooth extraction. There is then the option to let your gums heal before your denture s made and fitted, or if you don’t want to be without teeth and immediate denture can fitted.
Dentures offer many benefits including enhancing your smile's appearance and improving your overall health. Like all things new, there is always a learning curve with aspects of your daily life including eating and speaking. Traditionally they have been removable, but dentures now can be secured in place using attachments such as dental implants.

Some people may struggle with their dentures. This may be because they are old and not fitting well, or because their mouth or gag reflex just doesn’t make it comfortable for them. Denture Repair
If your dentures are damaged in any way you should come in and see us – do not attempt to repair them yourself. We will assess the damage for repair, taking into account factors such as the age and condition of the denture. It’s important to repair dentures correctly to avoid any chewing problems or developing irritating sore spots. We may also need to adjust repaired dentures to ensure they still fit well to your gums.
