The Zoom system uses an LED light to enhance the whitening effect rather than a UV light, making it safer for patients. It is performed in the dental chair for around one and a half hours. With Zoom, whitening results can be seen instantly. 

Take home whitening is where a personalised, moulded kit is made for you and using a more gentle product than the ‘at the dentist whitening’, you whiten your teeth gradually at home. This process is great for people with more sensitive teeth. It is also an excellent add on after Zoom whitening, to really maximise and then maintain your results. It has the added bonus that you can purchase more whitening gel in the future from the clinic, so you can keep your smile white and bright.

This process typically involves two appointments. At the first appointment we assess if your teeth are suitable for whitening and then take dental impressions of your teeth to create well-fitted custom-made trays for you. At your second appointment you will be fitted with the whitening trays, the gel delivered and instructions given. Results can be seen within a couple of days up to two weeks.
